    Day 1 \u2013 Arrival (Faial)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Pick up from Horta Airport and transfer to your accommodation.<\/li>\n
    • Introduction to the Azores Experiences<\/em>\u00a0base and briefing for the following day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Day 2 \u2013 Horta<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • First whale watching excursion at 9am with Pedro.<\/li>\n
      • Free afternoon to explore Horta town and its famous marina decorated with sailors\u2019 paintings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Day 3 \u2013 Horta<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Second boat trip in the morning.<\/li>\n
        • Enjoy a swim at Porto Pim Bay, formerly a whaling centre and now a beautiful black-sand beach.<\/li>\n
        • Visit the renowned Caf\u00e9 Sport<\/em> and discover its collection of scrimshaw art.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Day 4 \u2013 Transfer to Pico<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Morning free to explore Faial\u2019s main attractions (see \u201cOptional Activities\u201d).<\/li>\n
          • Afternoon transfer to Madalena by ferry (30 minutes) and onward to Lajes do Pico and Espa\u00e7o Talassa<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Day 5 \u2013 Lajes do Pico<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Third boat trip to encounter whales and dolphins along Pico\u2019s south coast.<\/li>\n
            • Afternoon walk to the Vigia da Queimada<\/em> lookout to understand how animals are located at sea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Day 6 \u2013 Lajes do Pico<\/strong><\/p>\n

              • Fourth and final sea excursion.<\/li>\n
              • Afternoon visits to the Whaler\u2019s Museum and SIBIL \u2014 the old sperm-whale factory now transformed into a marine arts centre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Day 7 \u2013 Free Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

                • Options include climbing Mount Pico (Portugal\u2019s highest peak) or a biodiversity excursion to S\u00e3o Jorge Island.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Day 8 \u2013 Departure<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  • Transfer via Madalena and ferry to Horta Airport, crossing the channel between Pico and Faial, the very waters that inspired Vitorino Nem\u00e9sio’s Mau Tempo no Canal<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    The itinerary may vary depending on weather, sea conditions, the number of participants, and the presence of whales.<\/em><\/p>\n
