  • Welcome and transfer from Faial or Pico airport to hotel in Lajes do Pico.<\/li>\n
  • 7 nights accommodation<\/strong> with breakfast in a 2** hotel.<\/li>\n
  • 5 sea excursions for whale and dolphin observation<\/strong> (boat, fuel, harbour costs, waterproof jacket and lifevest included).<\/li>\n
  • Excursions depend on weather and sea conditions.<\/li>\n
  • From March to November.<\/li>\n
  • Prices based on double room occupancy.<\/li>\n
  • Single supplement: 119 \u20ac.<\/li>\n
  • Triple room (double + extra bed): 88 \u20ac discount for the third person sharing.<\/li>\n
  • Sea-view room: 28 \u20ac per person (subject to availability at booking).<\/li>\n

    Day 1 \u2013 Arrival<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Meet and greet at Faial or Pico airport.<\/li>\n
    • Transfer to Lajes do Pico and check-in at the hotel Whale\u2019come ao Pico<\/em>, our base of operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Days 2 to 7 \u2013 Lajes do Pico<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Departure around 9am for your whale and dolphin encounters.<\/li>\n
      • Listen, observe, and capture unforgettable moments with the animals.<\/li>\n
      • Return to Lajes around 1pm. Afternoons are free for you to explore or relax.<\/li>\n
      • Visit the Whaler\u2019s Museum, featuring scrimshaw art and one of the most complete libraries on whaling culture.<\/li>\n
      • Visit the Vigia da Queimada<\/em> lookout and the BOCA (Base of Observation of Cetaceans of the Azores) for books, audiovisual materials and marine documentation.<\/li>\n
      • Mountain bikes and kayaks available for short trips to \u201cMar\u00e9\u201d or \u201cCastelete\u201d.<\/li>\n
      • Explore Calheta de Nesquim<\/em>, the port of the first Azorean whaling boat, or visit the old whaling factory in S\u00e3o Roque.<\/li>\n
      • Optional guided tours available upon request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
