From the rooftop of the Atlantic (2,351 m), you can see 5 of the 9 islands of the Azorean archipelago.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Departure at 07:00<\/strong> from the trail starting point (Casa da Montanha<\/em>).
The full ascent and descent of Portugal\u2019s highest mountain takes around 8 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The price includes the Mountain Tax<\/strong>.
Bring your own picnic, or let us prepare one for you for \u20ac10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This hike is recommended for participants in good physical condition<\/strong>, as the elevation gain is approximately 1,100 meters<\/strong> over a 4 km trail<\/strong>, often on rough volcanic terrain.<\/p>\n

If you have any health conditions<\/strong> or have undergone surgery within the past 12 months<\/strong>, please inform us on the booking form \u2014 we may be able to adjust the activity to allow your participation.<\/p>\n

This activity is NOT suitable<\/strong> for people with heart conditions or knee problems<\/strong>, and NOT recommended<\/strong> for anyone who has been diving within 30 hours<\/strong> before the climb.<\/p>\n
